Jennings KOA Celebrates Grand Opening
Chamber of Commerce holds ribbon cutting ceremony at newly renovated campground
Jennings, FL— Traditionally, the cutting of a ribbon signifies a fresh start and for businesses, a ribbon cutting is a ceremony that celebrates a major milestone or landmark. Jennings KOA, formerly Jennings Outdoor Resort located just off I-75 Exit 467 in Jennings, Florida, celebrated their fresh start on Friday, October 26th along with the Hamilton County Chamber of Commerce and Hamilton County Tourism Development Council.
Owners Gary and Cathy Reinard, partnering with their son Tom, acquired the property in early June of this year. Extensive renovations, in a brief four-month period, have given the campground a fresh new look and the campground now meets KOA franchise standards. The Reinards are experienced park operators and have won multiple awards in the campground industry. This “power family” has learned to maximize their efforts by utilizing the different skill sets they each possess, working together to revitalize and renovate campgrounds. Having owned two other campgrounds in their careers prior to Jennings KOA, the Reinards have experience in the successful operation of campgrounds. “Renovation is what we enjoy most.” -Cathy Reinard. Mrs. Reinard shared their expansive vision for the area and hopes this is just the beginning of complete revitalization of the entire exit, bringing growth to the Jennings community.
